Today we headed down to ‘The Store’ to let Jacob turn his birthday gift cards into birthday presents. Of course ‘The Store’ is what my kids call Toys’r’us, and Jacob seems really happy with the different games he picked. Thanks everyone for making my boys 9th birthday so wonderful.

I wish I had managed to catch the moment itself, but I didn’t so I’ll have to settle this picture of Violet triumphantly holding her soccer ball after scoring first goal of the soccer season. I think it was the extra practice time we had during Jacob’s game that did it.

POD: Which way to Camp?
Today was open house day at the kids summer camp. They day was great, and I will try to share more pictures. For now I thought this one of the sign outside of camp was great way to remember the day.

Today Jacobs class headed down to Harbour Front for a field trip. I’m not sure exactly what the field trip was but he came back with a clay dragon and this… it is also a dragon.

POD: Celebrating Jacob
Today we took Jacob and 4 of his school friends out to celebrate his birthday. We started with lunch at Mandarin then proceeded to Playdium for a couple of hours of video games. fun. Afterwards Jacob said: ‘Best Day Ever!’.
