Diaper Duty, Tantrums & Technology Too…
Tonight, I have a picture of Violet enjoying herself on the Ice Trail. It always amazes me how free she is on the ice, how effortlessly she glides across the frozen surface. In a year that Covid has taken away so much, it’s nice to see that she can still strap on a pair of skates and enjoy the ice.
Today the Atom A Dolphins began their playdowns with a disappointing loss to Leaside. They played well for the most part but a couple of defensive break downs let Leaside tie and get ahead in the final 5 minutes of the game. Thursday is practise night for our little hockey star so once again I find that my picture of the day is from the rink. Today it’s the girls listening to the coach explain their next drill.
Today was the final game of Violet’s regular season. A game they needed to win to finish in 3rd place. After falling behind 2-0 they came to life to score 4 goals. Way to go girls.
Tonight was our practice at the Ford Centre and with it was the opportunity to have a treat. Usually, that isn’t POD worthy, but Melissa captured them so perfectly I just had to use it.
The regular season is winding down, and this weekend our young hockey player has three games. Tonight it was against Oakville. In a game, they failed to capitalize on their opportunities. Another day another practice. I thought of using a picture I captured of the team practicing, but then Google gave me a little supersize.
Tonight is practice night for Violet’s hockey team. I capture this picture of the coach going over drills with the girls. It amazes me that there is less then a month left of the regular season.
