Today Violet’s school hockey team played their first playoff game. It was a close one, after going into the third down 3-1 they scored 2 quick goals to tie it. Violet came close to scoring the game-winner when she tried to kick the puck to her stick, but it went off the goalies’ pads and into the net and was disallowed. I captured that moment in todays picture of the day. It didn’t mater shortly after the goal was called back her team took the lead and they held on to win 4-3.
