Posted on February 13, 2012Categories:Family, Fatherhood, Picture of the Day

Running errands with Melissa and me proved to much for my little girl today. She fell asleep about half way through our afternoon out. I was amused when I looked at the couple of photos I took of my sleeping girl to find that her eye was just a little open.

Posted on February 11, 2012Categories:Family, Fatherhood, Picture of the Day

Today we have a picture of Jacob waiting for the Zamboni to finish before hitting the Ice for this weeks game. He did good today, I’m always amazed at home much better he’s getting better out there. I’m really hoping that he’ll score his first goal before the season ends, and watching as he got …

POD: Player of the Game

Posted on February 9, 2012Categories:Family, Fatherhood, Picture of the Day

Today we have a picture of Jacob pointing to his name on his hockey stats sheet for this week. It seems my little man was the player of the game on Saturday and he got his first assist during the game too.

Posted on February 7, 2012Categories:Family, Fatherhood, Picture of the Day

Today we have a picture of Jacob attempting to record a walk-through on his 3DS. He’s wanted to record and post a walk-through one of his many Mario games for a while, but I haven’t found a good way to record it. Tonight  I rigged up a little stand to try to capture it. It …

POD: Riding to pick up Jacob

Posted on February 6, 2012Categories:Family, Fatherhood, Picture of the Day

Today was a work from home day, and as usual I found myself leaving to pick Jacob up later than I should. So instead of walking with Violet I ended up putting her on my shoulders. Of course when she was up there I pulled out my phone and snapped today’s picture of the day.

Posted on February 5, 2012Categories:Family, Picture of the Day

Today we daid goodbye to Melissa’s Grandpa Jack. It was a sad day. It just seems so sudden to me. One minute he was there the next not. He will be missed.

As Melissa’s been recovering the support we’ve got from friends and family has amazed and at times surprising. Today a food fairy stopped by with two trays of Sheppard’s (well Plowman’s) Pie for Me and the kids, and a surprise order of soup for Melissa. Thank your Food Fairy.
