Today was Jacob’s last day as a 4-year-old. Tomorrow is his 5th Birthday Where has the time gone. Melissa snapped this after school, he’s very excited about turning 5.

Today our picture of the day is from poor little Jacob, who a weekend of treats got the better of. Of course he wasn’t the only person feeling under the weather. I think my 2:45 run in the hot sun in the morning, might have been to much for me too.

Today Jacob’s friend Liam celebrated his 5th Birthday. Liam was born a mere 2 days before Jacob and it got me thinking, where has the time gone. In just 5 short days Jacob will be 5. It seems like yesterday that I was looking at him through the side of the incubator in the NICU.

POD: First trip to the splash pad
Today after Jacob’s school Melissa took the kids to the local splash pad for some water fun. It was still a little cold for Jacob, but Violet couldn’t get enough. The only problem I have is that I was at work and missed the outing. At least Melissa captured these pictures.
