Tonight I found myself under the dome at an east end soccer game, watching Violet’s team play to a 1-0 win.

Once again my inspiration for the photo of the day came from my evening walk. I tried to play a little with filters with this one.
POD: Snowy Day
Winter hit with a bit of a bang this afternoon, complete with some power outages. I captured this picture of the snowy day while heading out to pick up the kids.
POD: Early Morning Practice
This morning we were out first thing and off to Violet’s weekly morning skate. It’s an hour on ice with three of her friends and she loves it, even though we have to be out of the house by 6:30.

Tonight, I have a picture of Violet’s new Crochet project. She seemed to really enough working on it. I’ll be sure to post the finished ‘Fred’ once its done.
POD: Celebration
Today’s picture of the day is from Violet’s second hockey game of the weekend. It was a rematch of yesterday’s game, in which her team lost 2-0. Tonight, the score was 1-1. They had fallen behind 1-0 in the first period before tying it in the second on a beautiful goal by Violet.
POD: Guard Cat
As you know if you’ve been following my POD posts our Cat is an outdoor cat, as hard as we tried to prevent it. With the cold weather settling in, he is sticking closer to home. So today I captured him on our fence by our door watching for any trouble.
POD: 14th Birthday
Today my baby girl turned 14. Where did the time go, it seems like yesterday we were bringing her home from the hospital.
