Tonight after the kids went to sleep I was vegging in front of the TV, watching Death Race. I enjoy watching things blow up when I don’t really want to think. It was a nice relaxing do nothing evening. Of course there are a ton of things that I should’ve been doing, but I just …

Project 365-058: Putting the Pieces together
Today was a nice lazy day around the house. To pass the time Jacob asked if he could do puzzles. He did 5 or 6 different puzzles. He’s like puzzles for a long time, but lately he hasn’t been doing them. It was great to see that he could still put them together without help.

Project 365-048: From the Ice
Over the course of Jacobs skating lessons this year, I’ve strapped on my own skates three times, the first time was to see just how bad a skater I am. I hold my own, I haven’t fallen yet. The second was because Danny couldn’t make it and some one had to do it. Tonight was …

Project 365-45: Violet’s Valentines
Today is Valentines day, so what better picture then Violet enjoying some Valentines gifts from her Nana and Papa. I had hopped for a more Family oriented day, but with Melissa working it just didn’t work out. Though I did have a good time with the kids. Jacob and I built a Crazy Fort train …

Project 365-044: Pigtails
Well it took just under 13 months but Melissa has finally managed to give Violet pigtails. Not sure what inspired her to try this morning but she did and found that it worked. They are pretty small pigtails but I have to say they are cute. Though they represent something I don’t like admitting, My …

Project 365-042: Bundled Up
Tonight while Melissa was off at work, I bundled up the kids and headed out for a little walk with my mom to shoppers to pick up some supplies for Jacob to take to pre-school tomorrow. We’re putting together little Valentines packages for each of his class mates. While we were walking Jacob tried to …
